Dear High School Parents,

I hope you were able to enjoy some of the homecoming festivities last week. The powder puff football, parade, and football game were all exciting! This week teachers must go to a convention and teaching seminars for professional development. This valuable time is used to refocus and to gain and share information in all subject areas.

Here are a few items for your calendar.

• National Honor Society induction is Wednesday, October 28th at 7:00pm in the Cove.
• There are three more away football games this year.
• Friday, October 30, 7:00 pm @ Foresthill High School
• Saturday, November 7, 1:00 pm @ Valley Christian
• Friday, November 13, 7:00 pm @ Bradshaw
• World Awareness Week begins November 2nd. See attached flier.
• Basketball is scheduled to begin November 10th with WCHS fielding 4 teams.
• Volleyball playoffs begin November 10th.
