Dear Parents,
Over the years I've found it helpful to publish a weekly Newsletter for my class(es). In the newsletter I try to remind parents and students of important items such as calendar events, classroom expectations, as well as include comprehensive project, report and homework items.
While the majority of information pertains to my sixth grade class, some reminders relate to school-wide events. Also included is a weekly grid, listing homework for both sixth grade and English 8.
Please take time to refer to the Newsletter for this week's information. If you'd like to see specific information in the Newsletter, please email me your thoughts. I'm happy to include 8th grade information, but if eighth grade parents don't find this newsletter helpful let me know and I'll adjust the format and delete English 8 details.
We're finally diving into our curriculum - having taken care of class rules, textbook details and general organization.
On September 3rd @ 7:00, we'll be hosting our Back-to-School Night during which teachers will provide additional details about classes. Hope to see you there.
