Elementary School Dress Code
Dear Elementary Parents,
In an effort to help with the cost of school uniforms, we have added some of the navy blue shorts, long pants, and one navy skort from the Dickies School Uniform line. Current Dennis Uniform items will continue to be our uniform standard along with these Dickies School Uniform items being added. Dennis Uniform is now also carrying one style of the Dickies shorts and pants for us. However, they do not carry the one Dickies brand skort and other pants and shorts that is now acceptable. Please read the following information carefully for full details on the new items being added.
Below is a picture of the Dickies brand skort that is now a part of our uniform standard. I have shown it in the khaki color so it is easier to view, BUT we are not allowing the khaki color, only the navy blue may be worn.

ONLY Navy Blue May Be Worn |
Shown in khaki to make viewing easier the khaki color may not be worn |
This Dickies brand skort and the Dennis skort are not identical. Both have the one front fold with no pleats. The Dickies skort is different in that it does not have the two tabs on the top of the front fold and looks like shorts from the back. Note, the only two skorts acceptable are this one skort from Dickies and the current skort from Dennis Uniform. Please be careful, as there are other Dickies brand skorts, which do not fit this standard. Dennis Uniforms will carry only the Dennis Brand skort and not Dickies. The Dickies skort may be purchased online (see info below) or if found in retail stores. (Again, do not purchase any other skort.)

|
| White Cotton Blouse with Perter Pan collar |
|
All WCS approved Dickies School Uniform items may be purchased from any site or store that carry these approved items. If you Google “Dickies School Uniforms” you will find several sources online and usually at lower prices. The online site www.denimexpress.com has some of the lower prices but does not carry all items. Once again, please note there are other shorts, pants, and skorts from Dickies School Uniforms that do not comply with our uniform standard and will not be acceptable, please follow the above guide.
All the current Dennis Uniform clothing will remain our standard, with these new Dickies school uniform items added. Other brands from stores of navy blue shorts and pants may continue to be worn, as in the past, as long as they look like the uniform standard. The standard for the jeans will continue to be the same.
Hopefully, I have given enough information so it is clear. The purpose for adding the Dickies brand is to help our families with the cost of uniforms. Should you have any questions, please contact the school office. I will also be happy to check any online site for you that carry Dickies School Uniforms should you have a question.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kowes

Middle School Dress Code
We ask that you read through our dress code very carefully. It is important that both you and your young person understand the guidelines that we will follow. We, as a staff, feel strongly that school dress should reflect a recognizable difference from play attire. Dress affects attitude in the school setting as it does in the work place.
The general standard for the dress of all students is to be neat, clean and modest in appearance. Clothes that are overly baggy or tight-fitting cannot be worn to school. Students out of dress code will be required to wear a school-provided uniform.
In order to clarify, please note the following specific stipulations. Dennis Uniform Company will be at the Matmor Campus (1787 Matmor Road) for the Middle School Uniform Day Monday, July 21, 2008, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. You may also order directly from Dennis Uniform Company, visit their store at 9500 Micron Ave., Suite 110, Sacramento, (916)361-6710 or order online www.dennisuniform.com , the middle school code is “UHQW01".
