Background and Coaching Experience:

Mr. Brown has served WCS for thirty years now as a coach, athletic director, teacher and principal of secondary education.  His athletic experience includes three sports at Rio Linda HS and a college career in baseball at Biola University.  He has coached basketball at Lee JH, Douglass JH, Woodland HS, Capital Christian and Solano College.  The highlight of his coaching experience has been seeing two of his WCHS basketball players go on to play Div. 1 basketball.  (Ian O’Leary at St. Mary’s and Casey Neimeyer at UOP)  In addition to being an excellent coach, Mr. Brown has served on countless mission teams down to Mexico, is a regular speaker at MS/HS chapels and is active in community service.  Coaching flag football is representative of how things have come full circle for Mr. Brown as he last coached flag football for WCS in 1978.
