Compete with excellence. Grow in character.
Honor Christ.

From elementary through high school, every Cardinal has a place to play, learn, and lead. Our teams train hard, compete across the region, and pursue excellence—on the field, in the classroom, and in their walk with Christ.

What sets Cardinal Athletics apart:

  • Competitive with character: We love to win, but never at the expense of integrity.

  • Whole-person coaching: We invest in each athlete—spiritually, academically, and athletically.

  • Opportunities for all: Small-school advantage means more reps, multi-sport options, and a close-knit team culture.

We’re proud of every Cardinal—and how our athletes compete with courage, humility, and joy.

Welcome from our Athletic Director

“As Athletic Director, I oversee all WCS sports and coaches. With most of our middle school and high school students playing a sport, my job is to make sure our coaches have what they need to mentor as many student-athletes as our facilities and staffing allow. I hire and mentor coaches, communicate with CIF and league officials, ensure compliance with CIF bylaws, and handle the day-to-day details that keep Warrior athletics running well.

My office is in Jack Hamlin Gym—convenient, since I also serve as head coach for the varsity boys basketball team.

I’m a proud graduate of WCHS (Class of 2005) and went on to the University of the Pacific, where I was a two-sport Division I athlete in basketball and baseball. I earned a B.S. in Sport Pedagogy. My wife, Amber—also a UOP basketball standout—and I live in Woodland with our three sons, who attend WCS.

I’m committed to using my experience to help WCS student-athletes reach their full potential. I believe the lessons learned in athletics prepare young people for life after high school and college.

A successful program, to me, is one where coaches and student-athletes pursue excellence spiritually, academically, and athletically.

I expect our coaches to model integrity, love, and respect—and I hold myself to the same standards.”

Assistant Athletic Director

I support our Athletic Director and keep Cardinal athletics moving behind the scenes. On any given day you’ll find me building schedules, lining fields, tracking uniforms, snapping photos, mentoring young women, and coaching—whatever helps our coaches and student-athletes succeed. I’m known for being able to “fix anything,” and I love pitching in wherever I’m needed.

I grew up playing soccer and running track and cross country at Menlo-Atherton High School, then studied Religious Studies at UC Davis while competing in the long and triple jump. At WCS I’ve coached MS/HS track, HS softball, MS soccer, and MS/HS girls basketball. I currently coach the WCHS girls basketball team with my husband, Shiloh. We have four daughters—all Warriors.

As a former student leader with Athletes in Action at UC Davis, I’ve seen how God uses sports to change lives. My goal is to help every student maximize their God-given abilities in a caring, Christ-centered environment—whether they’re coming off the bench or aiming for the next level.
