Welcome from our Administrator
For over 50 years, Woodland Christian School has been preparing students for college and Christian life. Time and time again, God has been using our staff to change the world, one student at a time. It is rare that a parent can send their child to one school, preschool-12th grade, all on one 31 acre campus.
At Woodland Christian School, we are more than just an educational institution - We are a family.
We will partner with parents to provide a Christ-centered education for their children. Whether our students are involved in drama, music, athletics, FFA, or any other extracurricular activities we provide, they will know the what it means to follow Jesus, they will know the importance of having good character, and they will see the value of serving others.
None of this is possible without our amazing staff who make numerous sacrifices to carry out our mission. We call it the Cardinal Way - Love God, Love People, and Love Learning. We welcome you to come to our campus for a tour or even a shadow day (for our MS/HS students) and see for yourself what our school has to offer.
Go Cardinals,
Dave

Woodland Christian Board of Directors
The Woodland Christian School Board of Directors plays an important role in supporting and guiding the mission of our school. The Board helps ensure that WCS runs smoothly and remains focused on providing a strong, Christ-centered education.
Here are some of the Board’s key responsibilities:
Overseeing the school’s operations and business matters
Setting school policies to help guide decisions and maintain standards
Approving staff hires and major personnel decisions
Establishing tuition and fees each year
Promoting Christian education in our community
Faithfully praying for our students, families, staff, and the ministry of WCS
Board members also work closely with the School Administrator to stay informed about current trends in education, legal requirements, and best practices for Christian schools. If the Administrator role becomes vacant, the Board will appoint an interim leader to ensure stability until a new Administrator is in place.
Above all, the Board is committed to honoring Christ and supporting the mission of Woodland Christian School in every decision it makes.
Board Meetings
Board meetings are held once a month in our High School Union. With the exception of closed sessions, all meetings are open to the public. If anyone wishes to address the board during a meeting, please contact a board member in advance as per the WCS bylaws. Before each session, the meeting agenda will be published here and on our WCS app. Each meeting’s minutes will also be updated here and on our app as soon as they are published by the board secretary.
2025-2026 Board of Directors
The Woodland Christian School Board is made up of members of our school community. Each person loves Jesus, is active in a local church, cares deeply about the school, and has been involved with the school for at least three years. Their roles and responsibilities are outlined in our school bylaws.

Career Opportunities
The success of Woodland Christian School rests with our incredible staff who deliver services to our families. Whether it is the teacher in the classroom, the administrator leading, the facilities staff, or the staff working behind the scenes, we are one united team providing excellent service to our families. In many ways, our staff members are active missionaries. They want to share Jesus in the context of providing an education to our students. All of our staff follow Christ and are actively involved in a local evangelical church.
Interested in working at Woodland Christian? We have several positions open! We are seeking applicants who are professionally qualified, who love children, and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models. Scroll below to see our open positions and to apply today!
I love working at WCS!

“I love working at Woodland Christian because of all my amazing co-workers. We feel like a big family that are so fun to be around. I also love working at Woodland Christian because of all the wonderful students. They are often so very polite, appreciative and cooperative. I love running to students elsewhere - lots of friendly waves and greetings. And I love working at Woodland Christian because I see student's lives changing for the good. That's the best!”
“I love working at Woodland Christian because we have a strong and thriving community that excels in all we do. Everybody always shows up to support everybody else, from sports, to FFA, to band performances and to plays put on by our drama department. There is nothing greater than being in community with people with the same goals and aspirations.”
“I love working at Woodland Christian because it provides me with the opportunity to connect with families to support their students' success and it allows me moments to speak life and Biblical truth into the hearts of the students!
