Thank you for considering Woodland Christian School for your child's education. We consider it a privilege to offer a well-balanced Christian education that focuses on the development of your child's mind and heart. Our Christian teachers are committed to that goal through the application of spiritual truth in a learning environment. For that reason, our teachers emphasize the importance of the individual and encourage your child to build on their strengths and to improve on their weaknesses. All of this takes place in a safe and challenging learning environment with a commitment to encourage, engage, and direct their development intellectually, socially, physically and spiritually. We would also welcome an opportunity to share our program with you personally and to take you on a tour of our campus. Below you will find information about registration. Follow the appropriate instructions depending on if your child is a new student (is not attending WCS this year) or is a returning student (is attending WCS this year). If your child is a graduate of our preschool, follow the instructions for 'Returning Students'. For International students, please click here for enrollment information. Please call the school office at (530)666-6615 ext 2 to verify enrollment deadlines. Enrollment for a school year usually begins in February of the current school year and is complete by July 1st. Demand is high so don't wait until the last minute. After enrollment closes, applications for admissions will be accepted but put on a waiting list. Call the appropriate office to make an appointment for an interview. Complete the following appropriate forms, and bring them with you to your appointment. The forms are in Adobe PDF format. Application Fee: $50. The application fee of $50 for K-12 is NON REFUNDABLE.
The registration fee is due with the application and is for testing, interview, membership in the Association of Christian Schools international, books, and student's setup. Our registration fee is non-refundable unless we can not place your child for some reason.
You may pay the annual tuition for the full year in advance, by the semester, or in ten equal payments, with the first payment due August 1, 2007 and the tenth payment due May1, 2008. Admissions between August 1 and the start of the school year must make a double monthly tuitions payment for September. Admissions made after September 1 may have tuitions divided into equal monthly payments commencing the month of starting school. For those who need to pay tuition on the 15th of the month, the first payment will be due August 15, 2007 and the last payment with be due May 15, 2007. Please contact the bookkeeper in the school office, by August 1, 2007 to make special arrangements for your payment to be due on the 15th of each month. Payment plans offered are as follows: Plan A: Payment in Full by August 1, 2008

Plan D: Ten Payment (Auto Debit Paym,ents Directly to WCS)
Plan E: ten Payments (Credit Card Auto Pay)
Refund Policy: Tuition Fee refunds for early withdrawals will be processed after all outstanding obligations are met. Tuition charges for a full academic quarter are applied for a student enrolled during any part of an academic quarter. Registration Fees are non-refundable. Delinquent accounts: Students whose tuition account is more than 30 days delinquent may not be allowed to attend classes until the account is paid, or arrangements have been made with the Financial Services Department. Families with delinquent accounts will not be permitted to utilize Extended Care services. All accounts must be paid in full prior to readmission. Three or more late payments during the school year will make it necessary to pay first and last month's tuition prior to readmission for the following year. Payment Option Conditions: A late charge of $25 will be added to tuition accounts not paid by the 10th day after it is due. There will be a $25 charge made on ALL RETURNED CHECKS or RETURNED DIRECT DEBITS. The returned check/debit charge must be paid with a Cashier's Check or Cash within 10 days of notification. Accounts with multiple returned checks/debits may be required to make all payments with a Cashier's Check or Cash. We encourage those who are in need of financial assistance to let the need be known. It should be understood, however, that our financial aid program is very limited. All information is confidential and is handled by the private firm of Family Financial Needs Assessment (FFNA). Even if you have received financial assistance in the past, you must submit a new application for the new academic year. Financial Aid applications must be submitted no later than April 15, 2008 to FFNA. The approved financial aid award will be posted to your account according to the payment plan you have chosen and you have made your portion of the required payment within the 10-day grace period. If a payment is not received within 10 days of the due date, no award will be posted, and you will be responsible for the entire payment.
