Isaac Rainwater
Isaac Rainwater has been affiliated with WCS since 2017, when his children started attending. He was born and raised in Winters and attended several different Christian schools in the area as a child, including one year at WCS in sixth grade! He was raised going to church and gave his life to Christ as a young teenager. Isaac attended college at UC Davis, earning degrees in both Economics and Political Science. Isaac has worked for UC Davis in different capacities for over 13 years and is currently the representative for the UC Davis Strawberry Breeding Program.
He and his wife Rachael were married in 2006, and they now have three children: Owen, Kinsy, and Luke, who are all students at WCS. Isaac has been the boys JV basketball coach at the school since 2019 and enjoys being involved with the athletic programs at WCS. He appreciates the impact that Christian coaches, teachers, and staff have on the lives of students and is grateful to be part of it. The Rainwater family attends church at Reformation Fellowship OPC in Roseville and are involved in many different capacities. |

jimmy hamlin
Jimmy is the son of WCS founders Jack and Jan Hamlin. He and his sisters, Julie Carpenter and Holly Worl, grew up within the community of the school and is forever grateful for the firm foundation it provided. After graduating from high school, he attended and obtained an engineering degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where his faith in Jesus became his own and was deeply involved in college ministry while there. Toward the end of his time at Cal Poly he developed a passion for youth ministry by serving for several summers helping run the high school summer camps at Hume Lake Christian Camps. From there, he spent a few years serving in various youth ministries both here in California as well as in Ecuador. In 2006, Jimmy began working in Construction Management with Teichert Construction. He also enjoyed serving with Young Life and coaching basketball at McClatchy High School in downtown Sacramento. Along the way, he met his wife, Jenny, who taught elementary school in Elk Grove. After he and Jenny were married and their oldest son was on the way, Jimmy left Teichert to go out on his own and ultimately co-founded Monley Hamlin Construction in 2015, where he currently works. |

Debbie Simpson
Debbie has been affiliated with Woodland Christian since her parents enrolled her in the 2nd grade in 1977. It was through the ministry of WCS in second through ninth grades that Debbie first became a Christian and grew in her faith through the nurturing and guidance of her teachers and then administrator, Jack Hamlin. Ever grateful, Debbie has filled a variety roles at WCS, returning in the early 1990's as a teacher, in the mid 2000's as a parent of four former students/alum, as a staff member, and past board member (2009–2013, 2015–2021). She currently serves as a substitute teacher and is enjoying being back with the students in the classroom, some of whom are the children of former students. She finds it a complete joy to continue supporting the administration and teachers/staff at WCS, as well as the mission and vision of WCS; to educate and prepare even more students for college, and most importantly Christian life.
Debbie and her husband, Eric, celebrated their 33rd year of marriage in July 2023. They attend LifePointe Church in Woodland, where they both serve on the prayer team and Debbie serves on the worship team. |

Holly Schaad
Holly Schaad has been affiliated with WCS since 2017 when her children began preschool. Raised on a farm outside Chico, CA, she developed a deep love for the outdoors from a young age. Growing up in a Christian household, Holly committed her life to Jesus as her Lord and Savior at 8 years old. During her youth she attended public, private and homeschool. She attended Sacramento State University, where she participated in Track and Field for the Hornets while earning a degree in Business Entrepreneurship.
She and her husband Garrett farm in the Dunnigan/Arbuckle area and have been married for 13 years. They have 3 kids: Brynlee, Brock, and Brady who all attend WCS. When Holly isn’t helping with the farm she volunteers her time at the elementary school. The Schaad family attends Life Pointe church in Woodland. |
