Our Mission
WCS has been providing a quality education (Preschool through 12th grade) to our community since 1974. For 50 years, the school has established a legacy of excellence, service, honor, and faith. By God’s grace we hope to uphold and extend that legacy to the generations to come as we prepare students for college and the Christian life.
What does a ‘prepared’ student look like?
As a Christian educational institution, the vision we have is of a young man or woman who:
- is respectful of the schools Biblical beliefs and ethical commitments.
- seeks to know Christ through His word and active participation in a Gospel-believing church, to honor Him in all things, and to make Him known to others.
- communicates in a way that is winsome, gracious, and respectful.
- grows in discernment as he/she works through problems, demonstrating initiative and an inquisitive spirit as well as a conviction for principles.
- demonstrates a work ethic that is excellence-oriented, planning for quality and paying attention to details.
- is socially and institutionally thoughtful, responsible, and respectful.
We are humbled and honored to partner with you in seeking to fulfill that vision as a community.
