"Woodland Christian School started in 1974 as a ministry of First Baptist Church (now known as Lifepointe Church). They had a vision to start a school with the purpose of reaching kids and their families with the good news of Jesus Christ. By God's grace, WCS grew from a few classrooms to a school offering educational opportunities from preschool through 12th grade.

​In 2009, Lifepointe Church and the school worked in partnership with one another to separate their ministries. The result? Both entities flourished. Woodland Christian School became its own 501(c)3 non-profit organization and works with many local churches to deliver the Gospel.
